Ascension" is a word that you hear a lot these days. Some examples are the Ascended Masters, Earth Ascending, and making your own Personal Ascension. As a spiritual conceptual state, "Ascension" has usually been spoken of with great reverence by aspiring seekers, often in tones of muffled awe and credulity. What then is this thing called "Ascension" in both a quantifiably objective and a verifiably subjective sense? It is something you want to achieve like a worthy goal or to acquire like a suit of clothes? Is it the great unknown because there is not a library full of writings left behind by those who have ascended, or, is it indescribable or indecipherable through the medium of human linguistics? The questions are many, while, the answers remain sparse and not readily available for either the mildly curious or the earnest student to examine. We ascend stairs. We ascend ladders. We ascend mountains. Elevators ascend from one floor to another. "Going Up?" In general, the meaning of the word ascend seems to be to go higher or to move upward. When we ascend from the third to the fourth floor of a building, we usually take the stairs one step at a time. Sometimes we pause for a few moments on a landing inbetween flights of stairs to gaze out the window at the view, or, to look at paintings hung on the walls, or, to catch our breath if we are not used to such strenuous exercise. At night when we sleep, our astral or more refined body double exits through either the solar plexus or crown chakra (depending on the evolutionary life spiral techniques we have studied in this life and previous lives), and then travells about in the fourth dimension. Later on we often remember this activity as "Dreams" or "Dreaming". If we are conscious of our actions and interact with the environment of the fourth dimension, then our nightly sojourns are called "Lucid Dreaming".
The average human in any given physical plane incarnation is already functioning then in both the third and fourth dimensions. Each dimension has many different degrees or octaves that ascend, step by step, to the next level of the universal construct. When those whose physical body vibrates at a third dimensional frequency die their fourth dimension astral body (which was connected to the physical body by a silver etheric chord until it was severed upon death) survives and ascends to the highest resonant octave of the fourth dimension that their individual sentient light matrixes can sustain extended contact with and still remain spiritually viable. Most human eyes when in waking state or in their third dimensional human body can not see beings moving about in the fourth dimension. To them the deceased have risen or ascended somewhere else, someplace called (in the spirit of hope of better tomorrows and somewhere over the rainbow) "Heaven" or the "Heavenly Abode." Ascension then takes on the meaning of ascending to more rarefied states of existence, to greater perfection, to long life or virtual immortality, to becoming a skillful equal of the gods and goddesses, sages and mages, masters and wizards.
These "Ascended Masters"
then are realized beings, originally from the human lifewave, who have achieved
higher states of consciousness which permit them to function consciously not
only in the waking state of the third dimension, but, also to be empowered
multidimensionally in such states as "Conscious Astral Travell" or "Lucid
Dreaming". All of the "Ascended
Masters" are able to raise their vibrational frequency intentionally from the
third dimension through all of the octaves of the fourth dimension to at least
the lower octaves of the fifth dimension...Continue on
